Rija Wahlah
Our quintessential Lajwanti bride, wears Delam, a lehnga choli that brings together a playful colour palette with old-world handcraft. The flamingo pink choli is rich with dense floral embroidery, while the dual-toned tissue lehnga, though modest in ornament, makes up for it in movement and colour, ending in a base adorned with gota, pitta, and gold accents. The dupatta, in sage cotton net, is dotted with mukaish and finished with a coral border heavy with sequins, resham, and antique-gold tassels. Together, bride and bridal feel like they were made in conversation, Rija’s complexion, the colours, the cut, the composition, all of it tailored with the kind of precision and finesse that belongs only to couture.
