Cut from pure tissue, this body gown is shaped into a fluid, elongated silhouette, with a fitted upper bodice flowing into a graceful flare. The bodice is intricately hand-worked in dabka, naqshi and single-thread resham, creating a richly detailed surface with the depth of heirloom craftsmanship. To balance the density of the embellishment, the flare is kept lighter through the upper portion with a restrained spray, before giving way to a heavily worked jaal across the final fourteen to fifteen inches. Here, dabka and cutdana take focus, lending the hem a concentrated brilliance. Beneath, Banarsi azar pants introduce another layer of richness, finished with an eight-inch border detailed with heavy mirror work, floral motifs and a dense spray that softens gradually towards the top. A tissue dupatta completes the ensemble, carrying the same vocabulary of dabka, cutdana, resham and a delicate crystal spray for a luminous, cohesive finish.
