A voluminous pishwas in burnished-orange and rose-gold tissue, accented with kundan tissue, is paired with an equally expansive lehenga in lustrous atlas. The layered fabrics lend structure and depth to the silhouette, while the generous flare of both pieces creates a sweeping, ceremonial fall. Single-thread resham embroidery forms the foundation of the handwork, layered with intricate tappa, kora and kundan detailing. Richly worked borders frame both the pishwas and lehenga, balancing fine threadwork with dimensional metallic embellishment. An antique-gold dupatta and a vibrant fuchsia-pink dupatta introduce contrasting drapes, drawing together the ensemble’s warm metallic tones and brighter accents. A separate chadar, extensively worked in mukesh and kamdani, adds another layer of ornament.
